About Us

Just Desserts by Jess is a custom order only bakeshop specializing in custom cakes for all occasions from weddings to kid’s birthdays. We also offer customized cookies, cupcakes, cake pops, macaroons, party favors, and individual desserts. Our creations are made with the finest ingredients and we will work with you to create whatever it is to make your special occasion everything you imagine. 

While our day to day operations special in catering custom orders, once per month, we have a Pop Up Sale where you can walk in in purchase items. The pop up sales are announced on our social media pages and are generally the weekend of the holiday for that month.

Meet the Owner

Jessica Calabro knew from an early age that being a Pastry Chef was her vocation. In 2005, she attended the Culinary Institute of America where she graduated with an Associates Degree in Baking and Pastry Arts.  She then went on to participate in the World Culinary Cup Expogast in Luxembourg & Germany in 2008 as a Pastry Apprentice to the National Team USA.  She has worked at several top dining destinations in Westchester & Fairfield including Westchester Country Club, The Bedford Post Inn, Roger Sherman Inn, etc.

Jessica started Just Desserts by Jess in 2013 as a side hustle to her full time job as pastry chef. After a year, she resigned from her full time restaurant position and went full time with Just Desserts by Jess. Starting the business out of her childhood home, then moving to a small storefront in town, Jessica opened her permanent storefront location in September 2022.
